PROMOTING YOUR BUSINESS W/ EACH ONE FEED ONE GLOBAL SOLIDARITY.

Are you able to promote a not-for-profit initiative? My EACH ONE FEED ONE Group on face book is to encourage solidarity on January 16 and 17, 2010 for our MARTIN L. KING, JR., HOLIDAY DINNER PARTY & SUNDAY BRUNCH that is to unite the feed the hunger organization to have people support them and have them actually feed these families and adults, children on these two day worldwide. That includes churches, worldwide Hunger organizations. Feed the children World Vision to name a few that are serving poor and hungry. We want to have families across this globe fed on these two days in solidarity to show that the problems can be helped if we do for as long as it takes, every day until these poor can recover their minds and bodies which will enable to participate in the recovery of their lives, homes and lands.

Based on Dr. Kings speech 'The Drum Major Instinct," I would very much like us to HONOR DR. KINGS REQUEST WHEN HE SAID HE WANTED TO BE REMEMBERED as having tried to feed the hungry, having tried to clothe the naked, did visit the prisoners in Prison, that Martin L. King, Jr. was a Drum Major for Peace, these are the things he wanted to be remembered for. We have heard his I have a dream speech and now it time to hear his Drum Major speech. If you can do this city to city with your Artist on these two days, have them connect to a feed the hungry church in their community allowing the church to get these funds to change the lives of at least one family encouraging us to take care of each other one to one, you can have the local press cover the event you host and serve these poor people within each tour community with dignity. Just work with what is already there, the churches that do this already we really need tor then to unite and show solidarity in the need for us all to EACH ONE FEED ONE collectively.

If this sounds feasible to you and your org. Please let me know. I have put the idea to some restaurants and they like it. Any Business can make this a focus because the Martin L. King, Jr. Holiday is a four day holiday starting from Jan 15 his true birthday to January 18 the Monday, that the schools close for his birthday. people can travel from Friday after work to Monday evening and be at work on Tuesday. So I am looking forward to seeing the simplicity of this carried forth but what is already there, just bringing it together on the days. Solidarity. Not black or White but SOLIDARITY TO HELP GLOBALLY THOSE WHO NEED US TO HELP.

If we are 10,000 Multicultural Alumni, then we are 10,000 strong. On January 16 & 17, 2010, we can join together in our global destinations; make our education at NYU mean, that someone other than ourselves and personal economic gain is fed. We can network for the needs of our global communities in need.
Please join me on getting this done. We can from where ever we are have this Martin L. King. Jr. Holiday "Dinner Party," affair a global dinner party in every country that we live in or came from. I would like all of my dinner parties to be done this way.
Let's encourage all of the (feed the hungry) global organizations combine and do this.
Let's get a dinner party for these children of America, Africa, Asia and Europe that we haven't seen much of and provide this dinner party for them where they are. We have had so much free food at NYU both as students, employees and alumni, that if I were hungry I probably could right now find a function that I could get a bite to eat.

So, I know that the NYU community has a lot of big hearts there, that make sure we all can come together, break some bread and sip a beverage. Let' s make the organization's name stand for so much more than a network of self-seekers, networking to feed off of each other's success only. Because, we do need to do that also. Because, that's what it takes to keep our degrees meaningful and provide earning potential.

So, let us not forget to communicate with each, and not to forget the goodness of assembling ourselves. We need to network to help each other so that our degrees can be a benefit to our global families as well. That all the families of this earth are fed.
We don't need black ties for our guest and we don't need expensive halls. Let us feed them in their culture's light. If it is to sit at a table or to sit on a flat ground let us lay their food for them as would enable us to seat them stretched across side by side each one feed one. The cost of the table will fit the cost of the extra food. Let them choose whether and how they sit and eat, let us trust that their culture doesn't have to match ours eye for eye. Let them show us how they have a dinner party that's communal and focused on every member of the community breaking and sharing bread and drink. Stay away the alcohol let them have some pure juice and each a pure glass of water with their meal and bread.

"Great Minds Behind the Scenes in Black Music," in Loving Memory of Mr. Alvin "Skip" Miller 1946-2009

Poem: "A Real Gift" by my son J.Das Neves,'99 @age11.

He was 3 when he met Mr. Skip Miller at RCA when I interned there 1991/92. For my Graduate Thesis, "Great Minds Behind the Scenes in Black Music," through which I met Mr. Miller, Mr. London and other Black Music executives and staff at RCA. The true present day Great Minds Behind the Scenes in the Music Industry. A Privilege. He showed all the dignity, respect and love for his role in history, that keeps our heads held high. From his labour of Love he left a compilation of black music cataloged from the vaults of the original RCA 1901-1991 recordings. He called it "a labour of love," Billboard Mag. June 1992. I dedicate this Christmas poem to the family of families we all are. With condolences to the entire Miller Families.

The India.Aire performance is more enchanting romanticized verse of Sade's Pearls. The two versions one sung by Sade it's author and the other by India.Aire can best be understood from the personal experience of the metaphor of new shoes and how they do hurt the feet. Sade was born in Nigeria and lived there in the earlier part of her youth. For people all over the world this metaphor is striking and deep. When we compare the importance of shoes in our society as a need to the reality that shoes are mostly not worn in rural parts of Africa where so many people women and child spent large portions of their time traveling long distances with a load on their head and perhaps added a child on the woman's back. New shoes American style shoes sent there would be unwelcome, only from the fact that they hurt like hell when you get a new pair of shoes sent to you that wasn't fitted to your foot. My mother-in-law, God rest her soul, I was told, she would take off her new shoes and carry them in her hand whenever the family had to walk to town or to church. The value of the new shoes was that it showed she had them and the value of them. However, the pain they caused her feet to try to walk in them for miles was so painful that she CARRIED AND cared FOR them in her hand. As her son stated she didn't like wearing her shoes. Sade's version of this song really express the fact through this metaphor that we who are All "Africans Abroad," measure everything we don't experience, that we lack truth about, we measure people's needs by our own priorities. We see people without shoes walking in Africa for miles and miles we immediately think they lack something that we need, because we have lost any adaption to walking bare feet. So when we see Some Africans in tou tous, or g-wraps we think of sexual things or we think of poverty rather than culture. So We don't really know what the people we are looking at need from there point of view. African that was naked or barely clad were clothed, and African that was clothed and arrayed in fine clothe were stripped and all that were in this condition and shipped out or left at home in Africa, Asia or Europe, or the America's could only be judged, and dealt with through the eyes of others away from their reality regardless of color, creed or nationality. Together the two version gives you what is the two sides to the lives of the people all around the world that we either just romanticize or criticize. India.Arie tell of the times that we smile through our pains and have the sensuality of our being human and ourselves as sexual sensuous mankind. Sade tell of the experience and the understanding of why shoes is not the important need of these people. But the pain of their daily lifestyle to hard work, long trips just to get basics like food and or to sell and trade goods for survival on ones head, while the disputes between the lies and lines draw by indifference of mankind to the human rights of all living things sharing this planet Earth. What do these people need that we cannot see or measure by our own needs? I can't speak for them, but I can communicate with them if I listen to the pounding of my heart and I know that it can hurt with or without new shoes. LOVE AND PEACE. National Wear Red Day is a day to recognize the women who have died from this disease, to build awareness of the statistics, and to encourage all women to make a choice to beat heart disease. This year National Wear Red Day is February 5. National Wear Red Day is for women like Theresa. As a busy mom, Theresa kept putting off a check-up, but called her doctor when she felt tired, short of breath, and started having back and chest pains. “I had a feeling that it was my heart, but all the tests were saying it wasn’t, “ Theresa said. IT NEVER SEEMS TO OCCUR TO ANYONE REPORTING OR INVESTIGATING THIS TYPE OF CASE THAT MANY MORE TIMES THAN NOT THE FATHER'S ARE INVOLVED IN THE ACT AND MAY HAVE BEEN THE ONE TO HAVE ASSISTED IN THE DELIVERY AND ABANDONMENT. OR THIS CHILD IS A PRODUCT OF A CRIME AGAINST AN UNDER AGE CHILD WHO HAS A SITUATION THAT WAS PERPETRATED ON THEM BOTH. ITS TIME SOCIETY STOP THE GENDER BIAS ON FEMALES AS THE ONE WHO ALWAYS DOES THE BABY ABANDONING JUST AS THEY ALSO HAVE THE GENDER BIAS FOR THE MALE CAST IN OF NOT BEING A RAPE VICTIM IF HE HAS BEEN. THAT THIS STORY SHOULD NOT FOLLOW HER IN HER ADOPTION IF IT OCCURS. PEOPLE SOMETIMES CAN BE CRUEL TO A CHILD'S ESTEEM EVEN WHEN THEY ARE ADULTS IT CAN HARM TO KNOW THIS. CHILDREN FIRST BEING ABANDONED BY THEIR FATHERS BEFORE THEY ARE BORN IS JUST AS HARMFUL SOCIALLY AND MENTALLY, BUT SOCIETY HAS ADAPTED TO THIS FORM AS ACCEPTABLE AND LESS DAMAGING. Unfortunately history has shown and the news that the human element of sin itself has those so afflicted in the church pew and the leadership. For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. The beginning of this homosexually of the sin nature in some cases are a result of the sexual abuse of children. Policy: should read.
We will be watching the Bishop's policy on spousal domestic abuse and sexual abuse of children. On violence. If this Bishop should defy the laws of God and allow this behavior to become a part of the church, I say, may the Lord help the Anglican Church. If a rift must come because of not allowing this behavior in the church, then let it come. God is the Ultimate authority over HIS church and He cannot change His word neither should the priest/pastor change what God has said to accommodate the lifestyle of a group of people.
All sin is sin, the policy any church has to make is to preach the gospel according to the word of God, whose son Jesus Christ died on the cross for all the sins of the world. Churches are being pressured to deal with practices that are older than the bible itself. Jesus came to reconcile man back to God. How does a church preach to a sinner he refuses. Homosexuals have been in the ministries since God Knows when. God can clean up what you have called unclean, God has used the Noah who was in some references a drunkard, David in some references a murderer and adulterer, Abraham who by his faith he rewarded. We don't know how he will use anyone. We must pray for all of mankind. Jesus said he is not coming back until all the families of this world are blessed.

THESE PEOPLE HAVE LEGAL INDEBTEDNESS TO OTHERS WHO MAKE THEIR LIVING FROM THE TALENT OF THE CELEBRITY THEY TRICKLE UP AND DOWN THE ECONOMIC LADDER OF SO MANY PEOPLE DIRECTLY AND INDIRECTLY THAT COLLECTIVELY THE CELEBRITIES DO GET THESE LESSER OF TWO PUNISHMENTS. IT IS REALLY NOT PERSONAL THAT ANY CELEBRITY GETS THIS TYPE OF PUNISHMENT. THEIR STATUS IS BUTTER ON THE BREAD OF OTHERS. WHEN YOU DEAL WITH THE GENERAL POPULATION IT IS VERY PERSONAL WHAT THEY DO AND THE PUNISHMENT THEY GET. NO ONE GAINS OR LOSSES INDIRECTLY ECONOMICALLY, BUT THE CHILDREN OF THE ABUSER, THE ABUSED AND THE ABUSER. WHEN YOU DEAL WITH ABUSE THAT IS PERSONAL YOU ARE DEALING WITH A FAMILY AND ITS TIES AND BONDS. ABUSED PEOPLE HAVING TO AVOID ALL FAMILY CLOSE TO THEM TO GET AWAY FROM AN ABUSER IS HARD TIME FOR THE VICTIM AND THE VICTIMS FAMILY, THE ABUSER IS NOT THE ONE THAT GETS ALIENATED IN THE ESCAPE AGAIN IT IS THE VICTIM. THINK AND DO OUTSIDE THE BOX OF THIS AWFUL SITUATION AND PUT THE FOCUS ON THE PROBLEM THAT THESE PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING AS A FAMILY. HISTORY ARCHIVES OF BARBADIAN ACHIEVERS NEEDED

I would like to have a 1960 picture of James (JIM) Wedderburn, who was first Barbadian to win a Bronze Medal as part of the British West Indies Federation Team. There seems to be lacking a compilation of the sports achievers that have competed internationally. As these are more modern technological times it would be nice to see Barbados recognize and maintain some form of archive to view. Please allow me to have at least a picture that he is in as a team member or by himself. Thank You. I would like to use this as a educational item.

THE GENERATIONS BEFORE DID NOT HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE, AND MEN DRANK AS THEY LIKED IF THEY WERE DRINKERS OF ALCOHOL. WOMEN WERE FROWNED UPON IF THEY DRANK PUBLICLY. NONE OF THIS WAS GOOD FOR THEM. MARTYN FORDE BEIJING 2008 OLYMPIAN FOR BARBADOS

Hi: This is an interview of Martyn Forde in his first time Olympiad experience held in Beijing China. Representing Barbados' Olympic Swim Team to perform in the 50m Freestyle, Event 25 - Heat 7 Lane 3, August 14, 2008. He placed a steady time in his heat keeping a 23.07 seconds maintaning his steady shaving off of time that earned him his position as an Olympiad. I've watched the competitions; there"s a great deal of swimmers participating in these grueling preparations and trials that take place leading up to that moment on the podiums for each Heat. There were 13 Heats divided between pre-qualified swimmers of each Country. This leads to Semi-finals 1 and 2; then from this to the 50m Freestyle Finals. In this Finale the final swimmers ranged 21.30 seconds (the winning time) to 21.67 the last swimmer's time in the competition. This finale has Olympians that are trying to either keep the world record or break the world record. for the 50m Freestyle. Having competed in prior Olympics it is a fierce battle to the experienced Olympiad trying to hold on to their titles. The accomplishments of this level of competition reflects the veteran winners of each country with the new winners and competitors of each country. With a cast of thousands. It is Epic theater predisposed with finalist based on prior achievements. Like all such magnificent spectacles you get to see how it's done by those that have achieved the highest level of performance and the talent of those in the wings soaring their way into this glorious flight of Eagles flocking in height. It was a Great show. USA swimmers maintained their prior leads and created new leads as a team. Michael Phelps made great strides for himself and other youngsters that have disabilities that are not understood by those not affected. Give my love to all. Also I couldn't find a picture of the first Barbadian to win a Bronze Medal in the Rome 1960 Olympics; he ran the 4x400m relay they have him listed as Jim Wedderburn, his full name is James Wedderburn. He ran with a team of guys from Jamaica under the British West Indies Federation banner when Barbados was not yet recognized as a nation and Jamaica and Barbados participated as the British West Indies Federation that dissolved some time hence of 1966. In West Africa the name seth is known as Yusef. Of course SETH in The book of Genesis is the reconciliatory child of Adam and Eve after brothers Cain and Abel. The line of Seth iS the fore bearer of Enoch and of Noah. Further these "th" words have relevancy to the name SETH that is also associated with God speaking to Man. Strongly used in the bible throughout is the "th" words. We are all tied in all languages with these letters "t and h". IN PLACES WHERE THE SPANISH HAD POSSESSION SUCH AS JAMAICA AND HAITI AND DOM. REPUBLIC THE LETTER "H" IS SILENT AND THOSE SPEAKERS SAY "TRUT" FOR TRUTH AND "MOUT" FOR MOUTH AND "SET" FOR SETH. THIS KIND OF EDUCATION HELPS US TO CONNECT WITH THE TRUTH OF OUR ROOTS AND INFLUENCES OF OUR SPEECH. THIS IS FROM MY STUDIES AND I KNOW THAT MR. ALLSOPP WOULD HAVE EXPOUNDED ON THESE TYPES OF LECTURES.

Throughout the years, the struggles, the hardships, the triumphs, good times and bad times, and the distance between, our Patriarchies and Matriarchies in Family loyalty and unity kept themselves in constant contact with Love and Caring. Together Again of Late; Flesh Laid to Rest. Our Patriarchies and Matriarchies that never let distances, hardships, struggles, triumphs and successes they achieved or didn't achieve keep them apart especially in heart. In Honor, in sickness, in health till death did them part. With Love in hand and heart, turning leaves us this to partake; continue and chart our courses through this life. With Turning Leaves unto their children and their children's children God's gift of Salvation unto their whole households.

In Honor of a monetary Gift for the establishment of The Hoyte-Alleyne School of Integrated Study. For the Good of those that will continue to fight the good fight and pass on to their children a legacy of good values, humanitarianism and industry.

Due to the displacement of myself and my children from the family home in NY, USA.
The home was purchased with collective funds from all of the children of I. G. Alleyne; Closing November 1970, initially built from funds awarded I. M. Alleyne, due to a childhood Car accident 1964 and secondarily funds from the siblings Alleyne during the period of their employments through adulthood, coming from Barbados and living and working in the USA, with interruptions of their opportunities in the United States.

For my children especially the displacement was directly felt as we lost our residence and educational facility from which our Home Schooling Program was anchored and then uprooted. The endeavor to home school came about as the New York City Public School building my son was in failed to provide a ventilation system that would have lead air into his classroom. Unable to tolerate his environment and the consequences to the other children who suffered during class the health problems teachers and students had to contend with. The road had been long and tough as the conditions of Public Schools in New York City with overcrowding; everything from asbestos to crumbling structures, nonfunctional plumbing and heating facilities made for much discomfort among students and staffs.

From this has been birthed the restructuring of the New York City Public Schools system creating what is now called the Charter Schools which allows private individuals to form corporate structures to run smaller schools and public schools to divide larger schools into smaller schools housed within the larger building.

During our New York State Commissions Regulations.
100.10 We established our curriculum through the usage of the United States Department of Education's Described Closed Captioned Program for the Deaf, Hearing and Visually Impaired, learning disabled and home schooling families.

During the Home Schooling period much of the accomplishments that my son has achieved while going through the loss of our residence and home school facility will be published and fully developed to enable him to have the opportunity to be self-sufficient and economically able to continue his education. His sister whom had assisted in his Home Schooling dividing her time between school and assisting with the tutoring materials and participating in the reading circle known as our knights of the Reading Round Table, where we each took turns reading a book page by page at a table.

She had been accepted to many top colleges in New York City during this crisis which was very unsettling to her academic and personal ability to follow her previous high academic standards of achievement. With many awards in recognition of her studious commitment to her goals, she fights the good fight.

However I want to see to it that they get this new opportunity to have reparation from whatever funds I am entitled to to continue their education and their fight for self-sufficiency, educational, entreprenurial and occupational well-being for themselves. In particular that they get this chance.

For my grandchildren another reason that their mother with their father is still fighting the good fight. To maintain the legacy of good values, humanatarianism and industry. To support the achievements of their own family and those around them as much as possible.

With conscientious commitment to family and community from their childhoods and all of their journey through adulthood. As two young teenagers both worked at part-time jobs while attending High School, applying for college and both having been accepted to college out of High School. Always rising above our circumstances has not been within our power to do economically; what we have known is hard work to achieve our goals and to succeed at our daily responsiblities and commitments.


We the offspring of this wonderful Clanage of Parentage in unison Greenidge-Hoyte and Alleyne Clans, wish to Honor them with the Establishment of this Memoriam.

Funded from the Barbados Government residential land ownership program,
Government home loans for the people on this land to be allowed to own the land their self-owned houses are on. To maintain the legacy of years of stagnated rental fees of as low as $4.00 to $8.00 Barbados Dollars (US$2-$4)since the years of 1966 to this present day. A sum that has remained unchanged and low afforded the generations there to achieve economic mobility and self sufficiency. As willed by the late E. S. Alleyne, and undisturbed by his sons V. A. Alleyne and F. N. Alleyne late of this day in the closure of the hold from sell by will of bequeath. The Barbados Government has included within their loan packages funds to cover their back rents owed for the periods of none payment of the land rental fees for the lot their house is on.

This is a wonderful opportunity that has been extended by the Barbados Government to allow Barbadians to individually have this right as opposed to displacing them. In these economic hard times it is our wish that no one should ever have to be at a lost for their home. IT is our family legacy to maintain integrity and compassion for the original families Ebenezer contracted out his land lots to.

As all have remained as poor working class people we too here in the United States remained as poor working class people. We worked hard and studied hard. United States has been our home and Barbados our birth home and heartland.

We the children of F. N. Alleyne are pleased to congratulate the Government of Barbados for allowing these individuals to utilize this opportunity to own the land their house is on. we wish to thank the residents that enable the Government to provide whatever public works necessary to upgrade the area and to pay whatever rents arrears due no matter how small the amount. The Forty years between the death of Ebenezer S. Alleyne and his Son Victor A. Alleyne, late of 2006. The Frank N. Alleyne Family of children in New York has been without monetary benefit or support from this land due to the low fees charged and uncollected. We are happy that the land lots is being made available to the families; descendant or owners of the houses on Alleyne's Land.

India is a child of Ethiopia, China is a child of Egypt. Egypt is the name of a person for whom the land Egypt was named. Most people who research could add to each other what they have found to delve into deeper converse. The Land Ethiopia is the only land that was named by God apart from the word Earth. Words that began with E symbolized names relevant to God's names for himself. Egypt was a name given to a child, as a child from God in the place then called Egypt by the parents. The Garden of Eden was bordered all around by the lands called Ethiopia. The ball God called the Earth which consisted of water, air and then land which God called Ethiopia. This is the beginning home of humanity. Apart from the lands named after a child or ruler, All other names for lands were relevant to people naming them after a deed done by God to them in the early beginnings of humanity. So these names told a story to them about God had done in that place either of his love, mercy, salvation or wrath and anger. The term Europe has to do with the idea of them being separated and roped off in a colony lands where the people who had been turned white by God stripping them of their color were separated from others in the wilderness days of Moses. These colonies included the people who were called lepers. There are bible statements that Aaron and Miriam was turned white by God. These descendants of Aaron brother of Moses and Miriam represent these people that we know as the Chinese and the Europeans that by nomadic travels came back out of these areas in an effect to return to true civilization in Ethiopia as they knew it. Europe for that reason believes in what they did in dividing up What we know as Africa into so many different Countries and European rulership. Europe always depended on Ethiopia and especially Egypt for food and knowledge. The attempts to rejoin themselves back to Africa is and has been their goal from the point of separation to this present day. The native Americans that could explain this would tell you that man cannot own land and possess land as they wish because every form of life, human kind and animal kind dies an leaves the lands behind. The Earth is before man and is made to out live mankind. The situation is similar to if you wanted to go back to sao tome and possess the land that is called the City of Neves as your own personal property and then dominate every one there and make them speak English and live by your rules. What would happen. One of two things or both. They would be divided loyalty among the inhabitants firstly. Secondly, subjugation and rebellion. If the descendants their no longer recognize you and thrived in your absence, they would not want your rulership if it is unkind. If it is kind they wouldn't understand that you are taking what is there's in their mind, unless they mind is as the Native Americans wisdom of non ownership by reason of man cannot own land as mankind dies and leaves it. We and or generations can only lease this earth or rent it we really can't own it. We can just convince each other that we own anything because of a document says so and we can exchange that for our future generations to lease or rent. That´s true, ultimately speaking. We are all one race, with the same origin, and this goes back to Adam and Eve. And there are scientists that argue that the original man was from what is now the continent of Asia!

But we all know what we mean when we speak about Africans, Europeans, Asians, Americans, and Australians. We are talking about the generations descended from children of Noah who migrated from the Babel tower region after the Big Flood to different parts of Asia and Africa. The children of Shem occupied basically what is now the Middle East region and parts of northeast Africa. The children of Ham occupied the Land of the Ethiopians, now called Africa (Incidentally, Ethiopian means{people of burnt face}). Asia was occupied by descendants of Jase phat (I may have misspelled this name) and some of them migrated to Europe from India. I studied this in the Bible for a couple of months some nine years ago with the help of a map.

My studies in linguistics (TESOL, among other things, takes a big bite at linguistics, both theoretical and applied) also backs up what is in the scriptures. All European languages come from one single language, the Sanskrit's, a language still spoken by certain religious scholars in India. African languages have roughly three roots, and most of them are Bantu based. Most slaves came to the Americas originally from the Kongo Empire which spoke Bantu languages. Bantu languages are still spoken among black people in Cuba and in northern Brazil. The accent of Bantu languages are prominent among black folks in the Americas and the Caribbean even when they speak European languages, never mind among blacks in Africa even among those who speak Portuguese, French, English. Their identity speaks loud for people to hear. We all belong to the human race, we come with different baggage, shapes and hues. ''Vive la diference!,'' Long live the difference, the French say, but in recent centuries, starting with chattel slavery of blacks in the early 1500's, the difference that characterizes Africans, whether at Africa or in the diaspora, have been belittled and exploited by non-Africans, and I think Africans everywhere must do something to bring back the balance needed as we progress towards the beginning of a new world order.

The distortion about Africa began in the 1500's when black slavery began. I don´t have time to repeat the argument, but you are an African woman with an American citizenship, just like I´m an African man with a Santomean citizenship. Citizenship, which black folks in the Americas tend to misunderstand, has nothing to do with being African. Africans are spread all over the planet with all kinds of citizenship, and being African is above citizenship! It´s the job of all Africans to use whatever means their gifts best allow them, to inform the world out there about Africans and the continent that belongs to them. I do this fairly well through writing, the channel I know God has provided me.

I had seen those comments. They are from other Portuguese speakers, mostly Brazilians, who read my article with great interest and spoke of them in their group discussions. Many of them are discovering their African roots through this article, though I intended it for Santomeans.

Family problems are everywhere in the world, and especially among immigrants, and this seems to have been the case in history from back during the biblical times. They are not only among Africans.

Unfortunately, most views held outside of Africa are tinted with media propaganda and do not match the reality of each country in Africa. The media find one small detail somewhere and magnify and generalize it as an African problem as a whole, while hiding positive things about Africa.

I'd like to see films on African cities (pre-colonial, colonial and post-colonial) and not just villages. Village life is important in Africa, but so is urban life, which has always co-existed with the villages. I`m sick and tired of hearing about villages, wild life, drought and war. These things do exist in Africa in certain spots and pockets, but they are not what Africa and Africans are or have been about.

I´d like them to tell the world that the man who invented heart transplant was an African that looked like me, Hamilton Naki, and not a white South African by the name of Christian Barnard. I´d like them to print Banard´s confessions. I´d like them to talk about what African universities are researching on. I´d like them to tell the world that Africans founded the concept of university, and that when London was still a village, students from all over the world went to the cities of Timbuctu, Gao and Jenne to study at our universities, including Sankore University which still exists, with collections of manuscripts talking about things modern science have not yet discovered. I´d like to see the modern city of Abuja, a city built by the government of Nigeria in recent years, which now serve as the capital. I´d to see our factories and their skilled workers and not just some women working the fields in a village. I´d like them to talk about the prosperity of Botswana, the strides Angola is taking now after the end of the 30 year war. I´d like the schools to teach the curriculum I suggested to you.

I plan to do that because we need to have a better view of what Africa and African cultures are about other than dusty looking muddy area, wild animals and voodoo medicine men as shown on most TV even the educational shows tend to show this while the people of Europe and Asia that have money go there and enjoy all of it's diversity. I know it is to keep the black American and other black nationals from going there or feeling connected to them like they do their home lands. If we all went there like we have family there we would spend money there we too would be able to contribute to it directly black folks to black folks, When whites go there they spend money but to their own white owned areas so money is not going to the locals. Some articles I read talk about the prostitution of young African males selling themselves to older white women and men for shirts and outfits and meals. Nothing that can better their long term futures, Then they show how the African chiefs sell off the young girls to any man they feel like and more than one female as many as he can buy. These problem keep Africa with villages full f women and children that may have been sold to tourist and then abandon. Women are not free Men are not free in Africa as long this goes on. Also like President Obama's father having left Kenya to study leaving his wife and children behind then marrying here and leaving his mother to go on and do the same. African has to establish a pro family policy that brings these men and their wife and children with them so that the whole family can be uplifted together as others that travel as a family do in the white race, President Obama never knew his father from age 2 then once at age 10. Many African American children are a product of these student situations.

Pro family foreign policy is necessary to help the children of Africa. Some have fathers abroad that eat and live well with American women while these children and their moms are hungry in Africa. when white men travel they take their wife and children once it is for more than a short week or two. HOW CAN THEY THINK TO TAKE A HUSBAND FROM HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN FOR 4 -8 YEARS WHEN HE IS AFRICAN. WHY, HOW RIGHT. Adrian Alvin Kirton is going to be always remembered as the killer of Lizanne Crichlow, which is something both families have to live with. But as a society don't lose sight of the need to keep young people out of these situations. UTILIZE THIS MAN'S ATTEMPT TO CHANGE. I suggest that if Mr. Kirton reads this that he please set aside a portion of his proceeds from his work that sells, to set up a scholarship in the name of Lizanne Crichlow that someone who is struggling to get an education can do so in her name. That he recognize her lose to her family and society with this gesture. If there is anyway that they have forgiven him. He can for the sake of his own good, continue to be a law abiding citizen. Enough of the garbage, put some humanity out here. STOP HIDING THE MEN BEHIND THE WOMEN VICTIMS. Rihanna has been in the Lion's Den since she left Barbados at age 16 without committed parents at her side or any other responsible intelligent Bajan male and female participants that would care about how she would be handled in America. The crew that Mr. Evans led her to have struggled with thug life in America and got their piece of pie while some of their players got killed in each others territories, in New York and Hollywood, which has always been a Lion's Den, namely for 2pac Shakur and Biggie Smalls. Violence is violence. Most of the disappointed individuals of all ages have not looked at this situation in totallity. I can't imagine WHAT INFORMED INTELLIGENT CONVERSATION IS MISSING FROM ALL OF THIS Rihanna Blame Game. The media DOMINATED by MEN and yesterdays feminist turned Power players SPOKESPERSONS HAVE TURNED ALL ATTENTION AWAY FROM THE ISSUE THAT WE NEED TO HELP OUR YOUNG MALES STOP THE VIOLENCE. No one THINKS CHRIS BROWN SHOULD BE A SPOKESMAN AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, INSPITE OF THE FACT THAT HE STATED HIS SORROW AND DESIRE WITH HELP AND COUNSELLING TO EMERGE A BETTER PERSON. He could better SHOW THEM THE MANLY WAY TO CHANGE without feeling like they are displeasing men who like to justify these actions as a she deserved it. Girls and women have liked Chris Brown's smile and his dancing up on them. That's true. But will they let him be a man that takes responsibility for what he has done wrong. I HOPE SO. Oprah did a show to tackle ABUSE from men who are doing the role of speaking out against abuse as former abusers. They laid down the steps needed to bring this problem to the solving table. The grandmother, the granddaughter, the Bajan psychologist, Dr. Myrna Lashley, Ms. Rhonda Taylor Schools Superindendent in Brooklyn, their comments make me wonder what kind of education they all have on this topic. THEY ALL MISSED THE MARK. Many women who left still were pursued and murdered. The abusers need help and mandated evaluations that lead to constructive 12 step programs like that for alcoholics assigned from medical and legal authors. Ms Pirro, and all of these media high paid spokespeople protect their incomes from supporters who are MALES PULLING THEIR STRINGS. Why is it NO TALK ABOUT HELPING YOUNG MEN IS FOCUSED ON. Courts can put them in jail with a venegance, they come out, go on to another woman, another victim with no help for their problem. Children in schools that live out these problems with their DAD and MOM, which does more diluting and confusing, because they want they parents to be together like RUMORS TOLD OF Chris Brown and Rihanna. They too are dying for this kind of dialog to help both parents. DAW! To the buyers that say they will never buy another Rihanna record who cares. If you were watching the videos and listened to the songs maybe you would not have bought it. She is a great talent; she has a lovely voice. She deserved better. The music industry, hollywood and the whole environment changes peoples lives. The stars have to learn to walk fast and shun a lot of people they could once make time for. Their lives are not fully their own due to the over exposure to so many people that know them that they cannot ever know. There is too much of other powerful entities controlling that success. Ms. Pirro who is a lawyer knows what contracts and breaching them can mean. Get some intelligent talkers don't just play with Rihanna's life. The comments to Rihanna's situation are heart wrenching and drenched with meanness. I have read some that showed truth and understanding. Both of these voices seems pushed aside with the downers and fair weather friends. I do wish the people of Barbados well and hope that they will look at Rihanna with love and understanding. YOU ALL ARE SHAMING YOURSELVES. Dr. Lashly should be informed not to be a mass media spokesperson of destruction with words only that have deemed Rihanna a negative poster child. And, Dr. Lashly a negative force against an abused inexperienced child trying to be a woman, with little help from the right people where ever they're at. Love and peace.

It is a hate crime that comes from self-hatred disguised as a product of a love relationship. Both Chris Brown and Rihanna began there careers at the tender age of 16. Both exposed to adults that may have acted unprofessionally toward them, as rumors may suggest. Hopefully what the folks in Barbados will take from this is that U.S.A. is a culture that is unlike that in Barbados. The close openness of our society is vastly different than the anonymous closed door, you can do whatever you want to do, here in the states. Jealousy is a big part of someone battering a person's face. Chris Brown could also be sued because Rihanna makes her living from her face and her beauty as a Cover Girl Make-up model, from this alleged battery he has publicly stated sorrow about and hopes to emerge a better person with help and counselling. The facts concerning the legal reasons Rihanna had to return to the United States is greatly responsible for her seemingly returning to Chris Brown. She for better and/or for worse is legally contracted to the record company and the songwriting contract that Chris Brown has her tied to. He has written songs on her albums. Mr. Evan (Rogers) that is credited as the one who led her straight to The Def Jam may not have known that she is a great talent and maybe needed a different type of record label that could have made better use of her talent and her cross-over appeal. The videos of Rihanna look like she is a victim also of some form of ill. I can't imagine that she had to be marketed this way, as in the disturbia video. Hopefully these videos are not just a reflection of the way she was being treated all along and then videos feed to the public as artistic product. As in one video she is introduced by JayZ as "Little Miss Sunshine," "Ho" which then leads into this beautful voice she has. It hurts to see this kind of continued abuse of women in media in general, and especially knowing that there are young girls and boys that are trafficked as sex slaves in some parts of the world. These video and/or perssonal events in Rihanna's life is an Angel of the Lord, situation that will lead her life toward a better day. For Whatever is intended for our evil God does make for all our Good. If Chris Brown admits to the abuse and publicly shows himself working at a long term effort and speaks out to other young men and women and let them know that it is not a favor that they do for anyone when they do not commit violence. But, that it is an opportunity they give to themselves to live a happy and trouble free life out of a jail, then he will be a better person. If Rihanna can continue to be the loving Woman that she is, that has survived the abuse and that can love them that dispitefully use you and pray for them that abuse you. She will be a better person. She has done what is the reality of women who have gone through what she has gone through. Rihanna needed her father or mother to have come with her to the United States when she was 16 and stick with her throughout all her dealings with the power brokers that make their living making these stars. She deserved better than what has happened to her and her family. She needed her Dad to be there for her. Beyonce whom is the predecessor to that "Good Girl Gone Bad," scenario has her father and her mother in her life, managing with the managers. Rihanna's career as a young girl was shaped with the junk they couldn't put into Beyonce's career. The videos represent an image of dressing up edgey which is not as serious by itself, but coupled with the idea that the video is just what has happened is serious. Rihanna is our Ambassador of Good Will. She represents our country, our culture and our strong Christian practices. Stand by her, support her, call her home to her royal duty, uplift her from this hurt that she, Robin Rihanna Fenty has gone through. She came to the U.S.A. a little girl who likes fashion, dress-up and music. She could not have known that she was entering into a business that would only want to present her in a manner that reflects what is sometimes done to innocent individuals on cameras, behind closed doors and other people's influence of fantasy. For future reference Barbados get your own music industry together who have a successful international group known as the Merry Men utilize all of your natural resources, and remember we are all Barbadians that are born Barbadian. Come together and move forward. Don't turn your talented children over to an industry and people who you do not know or understand what their business is about. Children must be treated like pearls that are cast in a world that does have swine in it. Though we cannot prevent everything bad that may happen to children in this world, we can at least make the best effort to help those that need good people to come to their aid. Help Rihanna find her higher calling from this event. Our politicians need to recognize the value of her star power and lend her a hand and stand up against the neglect of young men and women, teens who need guidance and the right understanding about the use of violence in any domestic form.

IGNORANCE IS BLISS : 3/24/2009 When you are laughing the whole world laughs with you, when you are crying no one wants to cry with you. IF SOCIETY DOES NOT INSTITUTE ENOUGH MEASURES TO STEER YOUNG PEOPLE IN A POSITIVE DIRECTION WE CAN LOSE OUT ON THE POTENTIAL OF SOME. PROBLEMS WITH ANGER IS NOT PASSED ON FROM PARENTS IN IT SELF. WE HAVE TO RECOGNIZE THAT ANGER IS A SPIRITUAL MALADY THAT SOMETIMES NEEDS TO BE DEALT WITH IN PEOPLE'S LIVES FROM CHILDHOOD INTO ADULTHOOD. This crime committed when Mr. Kirton was 17 years of age, indicates a serious childhood issue for him. Make sure that your anger as a society does not prevent you from utilizing his chance to reform. I suggest that if Mr. Kirton reads this that he please set aside a portion of his proceeds from his work that sells, to set up a scholarship in the name of Lizanne Crichlow that someone who is struggling to get an education can do so in her name.
